New World Review Video Edits

Since the summer of 2021, I was hired by Liam O’keefe as a video editor for his YouTube channel called the “NewWorldReview”. I started when the channel had 230,000 subscribers and the channel now has over 312,000 subscribers. Since my joining videos have begun to receive sponsorships to promote their products on our videos such as Skillshare and VPN companies. I have edited over 20 videos as of December 2021 and the total number of views across my video edits has surpassed 3,500,000 views. The channel covers various topics of eastern anime shows and topics. My job involves editing audio, compiling 100’s of assets that complement Liam’s script and then animating them, cutting together live footage intermittently in the videos, and creating motion graphics for each video’s “Subscriber Minigame”. The videos average around 100,000-170,000 views after the first week of uploading.

Here is a SuperCut of some of the New World Reviews subscriber minigames. These are the parts of the video where I have complete freedom to edit and animate however I want. The purpose of these minigames is to engage the viewer in a game where typically the viewer has a multiple-choice question and if they get it wrong they subscribe to the channel. It is through these minigames that I directly interact with hundreds of thousands of people with the motion graphics I create.
